Effective for: All Truckers using the Truck2Fleet mobile or web platform.
1. What Information We Collect & Why
We collect various categories of information from truckers to support app functionality, service delivery, and legal compliance.
We collect your full name to verify your identity, which is used within your profile and dispatcher proposals. Your email address is required for communication, login, and verification purposes, and it’s used in the account creation and support sections. We also collect your phone number to enable verification, in-app calling, and texting features. This number plays a role in communication and the proposal process.
If you provide your MC/DOT Number, it’s used for FMCSA verification to ensure that only registered carriers access the app. This data is applied during onboarding and within dispatcher matching. In case you operate under a business name, we may collect your company or business name, which is used to display in your profile accordingly.
Your trip entries help manage your load history and allow for accurate bookkeeping and IFTA estimation. These are utilized in the trip management and IFTA modules. We also store your documents, including Rate Cons, BOLs, and receipts, for record-keeping and compliance support; these are organized within the Document Vault and Trip Logs.
To help with planning and timely reminders, we use your events and calendar inputs, which are shown in the Event Calendar Tab. Additionally, we collect expense entries for internal bookkeeping, tax reporting, and performance tracking. These entries are logged in the Expense Tracker.
When enabled, your location is optionally collected to assist with mileage tracking for IFTA purposes and to support upcoming GPS-based features. This data appears in the IFTA tab and shift logs.
Your dispatcher proposals and connections are also recorded to show active dispatcher relationships and monitor engagement. This data is used in matchmaking features and reporting. Similarly, we collect in-app communication logs to maintain a history of calls and texts, which supports billing accuracy and basic dispute resolution.
Lastly, we gather device and app information such as crash reports and usage data. This helps us debug issues and improve the user experience. These insights are processed using internal app monitoring tools.

We implement industry-standard security measures. Despite our best efforts, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. In the rare case of data loss, theft, or breach — Truck2Fleet, its affiliates, and developers shall not be held responsible for any resulting damages, direct or indirect. The app uses the microphone for in-app voice calling functionality, enabling secure communication between truckers and dispatchers.
